We seem to start the build up to Christmas earlier each year, but the leaves are falling off the trees, snow is forecast, the Christmas lights have been turned on and it won’t be long before we are sick to death of hearing Slade!....time to hint at all of those things you want for you and your horse for Christmas otherwise auntie will buy you another scarf, woollen jumper or 3 for £1 bundle of socks!

Rodi our equiShopping horse is getting quite carried away going through the site to see what our merchants have to offer. His Christmas list already comprises of a new turnout rug, stable rug, and bandages. Not to mention new travelling boots, tail bandage, headcollar, leadrope and show rug for when he goes to any parties!
Oh he said, and don’t forget in order to get ready for the parties i’ll need some shampoo, a new grooming kit, with some gorgeous brushes, mane, tail and triming utensils a mirror to look at myself in and a camera so i can be seen en route!
As for me i would like a bracelet, watch, necklace, earrings, bangle, charm, handbag, wash bag, travel bag as well as new new competition wear and for my house a patchwork rug and the spectacular Clydesdale table!...that’s not too much is it? I suppose for the hubby i could buy a set of cufflinks, socks, kit bag or briefcase, belt and a pair of smart wellington boots!
For the kids there is a whole host of things in the gifts, books and multimedia as well as stocking fillers such as a mouse mat, wallet and mug. They too can have wellies! |

I don’t know about you but there is something I find quite exhilarating about this time of year and being out with the horses; maybe it’s all that central heating we have around us the rest of the time that makes me appreciate the freshness of the air and the smell of burning leaves (so long as I’m wrapped up warm of course). 
One thing I don’t like about it though is the thought of starting my Christmas shopping and traipsing around shops looking for presents, so being able to do everything on-line now is heaven…plus it means that there is time to keep up with what’s happening in the Ashes!! |
